Dead Rites New EP Obscure! Pre-order link. Album release date 11/09/2018

Hello my friends!

On November 9th we release Obscure

With a cover from the very talented Elaine Mcmahon the album was originally a single and ended up being an EP. A new recording of Midnight with three new original songs and an Alice Cooper Cover!

The EP was engineered and produced by Andy Reilley who worked with Iron Maiden during the Brave New World recordings and with Bruce Dickinson during accident of Birth and on Moonspell’s Butterfly Effect. So I am assuming that we are in good company.

Where can you get your copy of this awesome release? Well I am glad that you asked!!

You can get the album and some combos in there including the all inclusive everything package where you get everything that we have on the page. You can preorder the CD, Vinyl, shirts and more on that page, now most of these items we will be making depending on demand.

If you live in the Atlanta area or are able to travel you can get a CD and a ticket for our CD release show and pick that up at our Atlanta show on 11/10/2018.

We are extremely excited about this release and we cannot wait to play you these songs

  2. Obedience

Hello guys we are headed to the studio again next week to continue laying down tracks the drums are done, guitars will be next.

While we are searching for a bass player I want to take the time and thank Josh from the amazing band Prime Mover who is recording the bass tracks for us for this new album. One of the most amazing bass players that we know out there.

Just a quick update

Hello,

We are currently working on our yet untitled EP, but we wanted to show up and leave you guys some love. Shows will not be happening until the end of the year but we are looking at taking a small break in the summer to play a Benefit Show in Alabama if that comes through.

In the meantime, Paul is doing shows with Priest of the Iron Ryche, Izz is working on new music with Bludy Gyres, and our stand in bass player Zack Johnson just released some new music on Spotify.

Radu is actually working on a podcast with his friend Billy Pharaoh and you can listen to them on www.soundlcoud.com/theritualpodcast.

In the meantime here are two songs we did not write from the last show which was a lovely special show.

See you on the road

From Last week’s show

Hello, here is a clip of Gods, demons and Men… Forsaken 2 and Asphyxiate from the show last week

This was less of a show and more of a gathering of friends

set list for this show only

From out of nowhere (FNM cover)

St Mary (Rancid Cover)

Midnight

Gods, demons and Men

Forsaken 2

Asphyxiate

Sam Hall (Johnny Cash/Traditional)

Many of these songs will never be played again so they were just for this show because to be completely honest we owed you after the last show and we are glad that these songs were received as well as they were and we are definitely busting out some of these covers again for our shows but all together?

Not a chance we are NOT a cover band

Love you guys

See you soon

Update

So we have been very quiet on the website. My bad completely, if you follow us on facebook and on twitter you will know what is going on.

After the tour was over we parted ways with Josh and after that we had a final show where Radu fainted during the first song and he had to spend some time in the hospital and recuperating. So as a thanks for coming to THAT Show tomorrow we are having a free show at vision studios.. The reason we haven’t promoted that free show a lot is because we wanted the show to be more as a thank you for all of the people who came to that show and missed it and not a regular Dead Rites show.

So today the day before the show we are doing all of the heavy promotion after all of the people who we knew had come to that show were informed of it. This is a thank you for all of the people who were at that show and paid to not see the bands they came to see perform

So

Saturday February 17, we are playing with Bishop Lake and Lords of the left hand black, we will have Hip Trance… Belly Dancing at its finest and Dead Rites who will be playing a not so normal set.

Also we added a very awesome young man called Cool Guy Cool Guy who will be opening the festivities with a short set.

The show will be at Vision Studios

3875 Green Industrial Blvd

Atlanta, GA 30341
